I have not been able to load pictures to my pc and I have spent hours with tech support which I pay for and then found out they were sold to another company and they are awful! They were rude and said I would have to reinstall Windows.....really? They used to be able to log on to my pc and fix any problem I had. This guy was Chinese and I couldn't understand him. I asked him to speak slow and he asked if there was anyone else there that could help me....help me understand him?.....like a Chinese translator? Don't get my wrong, I've had the other company for years and they were Chinese and I never had a problem understanding them and If I did they would repeat it slower and they were never rude. So, I will be getting another software and kick these new guys to the curb.
So, I have no photos except I can post downloads and email pics that Amy sends me. The last one I had is of the grands on Halloween and don't ask me what they are dressed up like! LOL! I haven't a clue! Sam is on the right, and Grayson is in the middle, and the last one on the left is a friend of Grayson's.
I was working on the border of my Hawk Run Hollow fall cross stitch but had to put it down so I could get busy on the annual Christmas ornaments. The grands loved the Halloween ornaments. I stole this image from Melissa's blog, Pinker and Punkin, of her Barnyard Christmas Cat since I can't upload photos of mine....I haven't fully finished it yet but I have one of 4 done........one will go to Sam in remembrance of Grace, my cat that they took in and she loved Sam....we would tease him that it was his girlfriend....she followed him everywhere and could never get close enough to him. The other one will be for Grayson as he loves Miss Peeps.....he never asks how Grandma is but the first thing out of his mouth is "how is Miss Peeps"? LOL! They will have the 2024 year charms and a tag with all the information. Isn't it cute? She has so many beautiful FREE patterns for quilting, embroidery and cross stitch. She is so talented and generous. So much eye candy with all her decorating too! BTW, the other 2 will be for my tree.
Oh, I fell the other day too....I'm fine and it wasn't my fault. I was getting ready to go to bed and I had my pj's on and my Birkenstok sandals which have a rubber sole. Well, I was walking through the family room and although there is an area rug, underneath and around that rug is linoleum flooring. There was a puddle that could only have been caused by Miss Peeps urinating although she has never done that before but there was no other reason for any water to be there. Well, I went down like a rock! I was afraid I broke something since they say my Osteoporosis is so bad....but lo and behold, I got up and I was fine. I scraped my elbow and the next day my shoulder and my wrist were sore but no worse for wear and tear! I am so blessed!
I hope you are all well and if you are in the U.S. that you are getting ready to celebrate Thanksgivng!
Happy Trails!!!

So glad you weren't injured when you fell! I am sorry you are having internet issues. Honestly, it is crazy how much harder it is too do things every time they make "improvements". I feel like the filing cabinet in my brain is full. I don't want to learn new ways of navigating.
Even without pictures, please blog about your advent activities. I just love the gifts you exchange with your daughter. And the ornaments are just perfect!
Glad you were not hurt in your fall. You may need a new computer. I would call that company back and insist on talking to someone who speaks English! If you pay for a Tech service then you should have service. I am so glad we got Macs a few years back...much easier in the long run. Have fun with all your projects!
I'm so sorry you fell and very thankful that you weren't hurt badly.
I've found customer service doesn't seem to be to good anywhere anymore.People are so impatient and where it used to be if you were the customer you were treated nicely even if you were a bit rude yourself.
Blessingss
Betsy
Glad you are OK after your tumble.
Maybe you can try loading your photos from another source? Its more steps - but I save my pictures to my computer & then upload from there...so far that isn't causing an issue although they did change the screen where you add your photos.
Or new support people.
Those tech folks absolutely need to be kicked to the curb. I hope you are able to find someone more helpful and pleasant to deal with. Melisa is very generous with her designs, and they are fun to stitch too. I'm glad you weren't hurt when you fell.
Thank you Miss Merry. I'm thinking of trying Instagram and take pictures with my phone. We'll see...I don't know how to do that so like you...I am tired of learning new things! LOL!
You may be right. Another company bought them so not the same people or business model. I may give up on pc's. I need to figure out what I really need them for although I do like printing out patterns! LOL!
The other company was much more technically proficient and very nice. Yes, glad I only got superficial scrapes and bruises...no broken bones! PTL!
I'm thinking of going to Instagram...we'll see. I only have my camera to upload my photos with an SDHC card....it's always worked for years but something changed. I hope to catch up with you soon!
Thanks, Jeanna. My old company was great but they got bought out and you know how that goes...they fire everybody and put in a skeleton crew to save money. The got rid of the smart ones....they will lose lots of customers now.
So sorry to hear about your fall. Glad you are okay. Your crafts always intrigue me. I am glad I found your blog again.
Hi there! Unfortunately, I can't load photos to my blog anymore so I'll have to download stock photos or pattern photos of what I am making.
