Treasures!!!

Things are going good and I had a productive day yesterday and Monday.  Last night Luther came and mowed and it looks so nice.  It is very hot here but I have central air so I am very comfortable.  The cleaning  gal canceled last week and didn't show up today so I think I am done with them.  They are not reliable.

But I did get treasures!  I think it's called "retail therapy".   I got this magazine which I have wanted to try for a long time.  It's beautiful but not sure if I would ever buy again.  I would not do  the crafts as they look tedious....but I will enjoy the one copy I have.

I also purchased an aroma diffuser....it changes colors and came with 8 different essential oils.  I don't really smell it that well.  I may use my essential oils as maybe theirs are diluted?  I am done with candles and wax melties.

I also ordered some of my favorite cookies...........

and these little thingamajigs......for getting your blanket stitches even...who knew?  Each one is a different size..

That's all for today.   I hope tomorrow is more  productive!

Happy Trails!!!

Hi Sam. Glad to hear from you. Too bad about the cleaning people. Young people really don't know work ethic anymore.
Your magazine looks beautiful! I can see where it would be more to read and dream than actually do the projects. It really is lovely.
Lots of treasures!
Stay cool!

Cancelling and letting you know that aren't coming is one thing, but to just not show up is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I don't get it! Anyway, you did some nice retail therapy. I've never seen that magazine. I have a diffuser and enjoy mixing different oils to vary the scents. (haven't done it in a long while though) The cookies look delish and the thingamajigs are a great idea. Let us know how and if they work.

I think I would find new cleaners too. The unreliability is not good. I would love to see how those stitching things work. I use my diffuser all of the time and even have one for the camper. One of my favorite oils I found was at Hobby Lobby called "Kona Coffee" I don't drink coffe but I love the smell of it and this is wonderful.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
