Friday night With Friends!!!

I used to partake in this but then when Jim passed away (my son) I dropped out of everything for awhile.  I'm getting back in the swing of things so it is the first Friday of March......here's what I've been working on...............I'm all about the amigurumi right now and I actually finished my first project.  A very beginner project with a tutorial that can be found on Le Petite Saint  Crochet blog or on You Tube.

Her name is Kandy Korn...............

My next project which is in progress is another free pattern from Le Petite Saint Crochet called Bitty Bunnies.........

I'm not sure if I will make both but probably...........right now I'm making the boy.......

I've made his scarf and one ear while  I was waiting for the safety eyes to arrive..........

Now that the eyes arrived he has a little face!  I'll be working on him today/tonight.

Spring has sprung in the Ozarks (Arkansas, U.S.A.)  Beautiful weather and the daffodils are in bloom!  Just the other day there was still ice and snow on the ground! LOL!

I hope you are enjoying the weather where ever you are!

Happy Trails!!!

Oh my! Kandy Corn is so adorable! And I can't wait to see her bunny friend. Those are so cute and I bet they are fun to work on. I am glad your heart is feeling up to joining things. (hugs).

We are in the teens today, but will get up to 70 degrees over the weekend. Then back in the deep freeze next week. Our daffy dills don't bloom until late April or May.

I am so sad for your loss, but I'm glad for you that you are now able to get back to FNWF - I love your amigurumi - I need to try again - I have a few little things I'd like to make.
Still hot & humid in my part of the world...anxiously waiting for winter.

Thanks for visiting my blog... came through as a no reply (for some reason a few of mine do!) Grief can really hit in unexpected ways and taking time out is important. I love your amigurumi. very cute and looks fiddly diddly....

Spring has sprung for you! How exciting. Your Candy Corn is really cute and Bittie Bunnies will be just as sweet. So far your little boy is adorable.
I'm glad you're feeling more like venturing out socially again. I know the past many months have been so very difficult for you. I pray for you often my friend. You have been such a blessing to me as we pass through this life. Friends are the threads that make a life whole cloth. We share this and that through these blog of ours, always knowing that there is someone reading who really does care.
Happy Saturday Sam. I hope it's a wonderful one.
Blessings and love,
Betsy

Hi Sam, Its lovely to come over and visit your blog and what a massive step forward you've made - blogging can be hard at times as it comes from the heart - I'm sure Jim would be pleased to see you doing things you enjoy - Kandy was a great first project and I'm loving the Bunny - what a great idea putting on the face at that stage - its such an encouragement to keep going with the rest of him - looking forward to seeing him finished :) Ozarks? That reminds me of a TV show I used to watch a few years back - self sufficiency type of show with a few different people from different areas and there was a couple who had moved to the Ozarks region to an old cabin and he did blacksmith work .... perhaps I'll remember the name of it, but I did enjoy it alot (I live in Australia - so summer here)
