Covid...........

I looked at some things on Pinterest that had July "bucket lists"....lol!  The only thing I will be doing for the next 3-4 months will be staying inside in the AC!

I wish you a happy July wherever you are.  We're not off to a very good start.  My daughter called last night and she has Covid.  I didn't even recognize her voice on the  phone.  She'd been to the ER and they confirmed it.  She didn't think that was what it was.  She is really miserable.  They were going to Desmoines to celebrate Sam's birthday but not now.  I must admit when she sent me pictures of the kids in the Amanas I noticed they weren't wearing masks.  She thinks Sam's coming down with it.  Evidently people are thinking we are done with Covid...WRONG!!!  Do people not read the paper or listen to the news?
In fact, they are thinking of coming out with a new vaccine to treat these new variants.  As long as there are people who feel their rights are being violated to get a vaccine, COVID will be with us for a very long time.  I always wear a mask....in fact I will probably have one on in my casket! LOL!

Please say a prayer for my daughter and her family...thank you.

Happy Trails!!!

I'll keep them in my prayers. I've heard of so many people getting the virus lately. And it's so hard during these hot summer months. Take care!

We know several people in both Omaha and Spokane who have Covid right now. As you know, Mandy, Brad and Piper all had it two weeks ago. I'm sure they caught it on the train from Paris to London. Mandy was REALLY sick, Piper, so-so and Brad didn't even have symptoms but tested positive. It's a crazy virus. You never know what it will do.
I will be saying a prayer for your daughter and family to soon be well.
Blessings,
Betsy

Betsy, I have been praying for Mandy, Piper, and Brad. I hope they are recovering. I worry about the "long-haul" repercussions from it. they say it can even affect your brain cells.

I am so sorry to hear about your daughter and her family. I pray they recover quickly with no lasting affects.

My across-the-street neighbor and at least one of her teenagers tested positive AGAIN (they don't believe in vaccination). She said she is much sicker this time than last winter. She blames the devil. I blame not being vaccinated. I know vaccinated people are catching it, too, but she is just tempting fate.

Your family is in my prayers.
