High 90's with no end in sight. I can't complain as I get out early and do chores and errands and then spend the day in the AC. This little guy just laid there...I think he was spent............I do rinse out and refresh the bird bath every day so they all have water. I've seen crows in the bird bath, the squirrel and a few birds...........yesterday I saw a bluebird and a little bird with a red tail........
The flowers don't seem to mind the heat..............as long as I keep them watered too..I've had red blooms but this is the first orange one.........
Yesterday morning I went out to the highway and filled up my gas tank and I had 1/4 of a tank.....it was $75!!! Whoa Nellie! I mailed some letters and then in the afternoon I watched Hearing #5 of the January 6th select committee.....I knitted all during it. I've watched all the hearings so far.
Today, the chimney sweep is coming to repair the "crown" on my chimney. It's cracked and I don't want water getting in. Yesterday I did a bunch of financial stuff. I had a corporation that I am shutting down. It's been an expensive month so far.
Oh, did I tell you? I finally got an appointment with my new doctor! Next Wednesday! Yippee!
Stay cool if you are in the heat!
Happy Trails!!!

It's hot here....an understatement! lol Stay cool and have a nice day. Love your flowers!
You are a busy bee! We're finally getting a small break from the heat today. Only upper 80's. Ha! It will be back soon enough.
We've been doing the same with outdoor chores in the morning and then inside watching movies.
Have a great Friday Sam.
Blessings,
Betsy
Where you l live, the humidity is what would do me in. I lived in KS for 22 years and the humidity was brutal in the summer. But, it made for pretty flowers. You little squirrel is kind of cute. You are so considerate of the wildlife around you. Shutting down a corporation does not sound like a good time. It is usually a messy time. Hopefully all went well.
It is so hot and humid. I guess it is a good thing we invented air conditioning if we are going to destroy the climate. What kind of world are we leaving our grandchildren?
I have been trying to watch the hearings. Sometimes it is on NPR while driving and sometimes it is listening on my phone held up to my ear. I have read so much and watched so much coverage of that horrible day, that I am SHOCKED to find out how much more treachery there was. And today they have made women second class citizens who have to have their health care choices made by the government instead of between them and their doctor.
Miss Merry.......I hear you! Amen sister!
Oh my goodness... that picture of the squirrel in the birdfeeder is too cute. I'm guessing you'd rather s/he wasn't there, but great picture you got!
Looks like that squirrel is wondering why you're bothering him at his house! lol
