Covid???? I'm thinking it was...........

Okay....yesterday after I blogged I went to bed.  I slept all afternoon. no appetite whatsoever, chilled to the bone.  I got up at 5:00 p.m. thinking I needed to eat something so I could take my meds.  I had 1/4 cup of soup and that was all I could manage.  I went back to sleep at 7:00 p.m and slept until 7:00 this morning.  Those were the exact reactions I had from both shots and the booster.....coincidence?  I don't think so.  I'm better today but it did wear me out.  I have not napped today or felt the need to but my energy level isn't what it usually is.

So, not much was done today but I did  manage to get the shelf liner in the cupboard under the sink.....not a great job but it will do...........

I did get some supplies in the mail..........happy mail!

Zippers for project bags and floss for cross stitch.........

That's all for today folks......

Happy Trails!!!

Sorry to hear the vaccines knock you down so hard. I hope your energy is back to normal soon. ((Hugs))

Oh wait a minute... maybe I misunderstood you, Sam. Are you thinking you've gotten a case of COVID? I do hope you're all better soon.

Oh Sam, it does sound like you may have the dreaded covid. I sure hope not but if it is, it also sounds like you may be one of the lucky ones to have a slight case of it and not terrible.
I know several people here who have it right now and everyone of them is describing it like a head cold or sinus infection, but when they test, it's positive. I think that's what is helping it spread. People just think they have a cold, or a headache, etc., and don't stay home.
I'm praying right now that you'll continue to improve quickly my dear friend.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy

So hard to know without the send-in test. I had a family member take a vaccinated teen for a rapid test, she had all the symptoms. Her other teen was home, so she took him along. Both were tested and the one with NO symptoms was positive, the sick one was negative. Both had the other test, same results. The boy quarantined 10 days, no symptoms. The girl now has pneumonia. There is a monster cold virus out there, too. I am glad you are feeling a little better.
People tell me that, down the line, if you donate blood, they test for antibodies for free.

I had a reaction to the second dose and have yet to go for the booster though we will be required to get it if we want to ever travel again. It's been over two years since we went anywhere which is not good because I really need a break from this place. Both my boys assume they recently had covid since their roommates tested positive. My Colorado boy did the same home test as his roommate and it was positive but he had no symptoms. My NY boy could not even find a test anywhere or get an appointment so just had to lay low for some days. He works from home anyways so not that big a deal. Both roommates only had slight symptoms that lasted 2-3 days. I've seen interviews where it's been said all of us will either get covid or get vaccinated so don't think there's really any way to avoid the inevitable. I for sure am tired of it all. Did some contact papering of my kitchen cabinets the other day and let me just say, they don't make it as thick and nice as they used to and there were some frustrating moments and times when it would tear because of trying to reposition it. I still have lower cabinets to do but wasn't in the mood to tackle it after it took so long to do the top ones. Take care of yourself.

Hope it wasn't covid, but if it was you must have had a light case! Take care!!
