Treasures for sure!!! Thank you USPS!

I got everything at once yesterday it seemed although I try to stagger my orders to protect my pocket book.

First of all I have a mystery I'm hoping someone can solve.  There is a scrub fern tree growing in my yard and I noticed this yellow mass on it that seemed to attract butterflies.  Does anyone know what it is?  I've never seen anything like it.  Is it seeds?  Blossoms?  Oh!  I think maybe it is a Mimosa tree as they have furry blossoms like what I'm seeing in this picture.  I answered my own question! LOL!

From Thrift Books I got the 2nd book in the Nancy Drew series; The Hidden Staircase..........

A quilting book I have looked at for a very long time............

The rest is from Fat Quarter Shop........

another book I've had my eye on for several years.............

Some project bags............one for my Prim project........

and one for my Mistletoe Lane project..........

floss for Mistletoe Lane.........which will be my Christmas project or at least one of them........

some cross stitch fabric........
and some cute charm squares for the Christmas season...........very vintage!

Here's the ham and beans from last night that I forgot to post and the chocolate chip cookies.........
I hope you are all safe and well and have plenty of whatever you need!
Happy Trails!!!

You received some lovely treasures. That does look like a mimosa tree. My mom had one but her blossoms were pink on hers. How nice that it attracts butterflies. Your ham and beans look quite appetizing but the cookies would be my favorite part of the meal LOL.

I love packages! I always call them presents. Today my present was a case of facial tissue for fall that I ordered from Amazon. Not nearly as fun as your treasures.

I really like that quilt petite book. It looks like a fun book to "read." So many wonderful things in your mailbox today. I think we actually have everything that we ordered from Amazon. With moving into the trailer there has been quite a few things needed for winter.
Blessings,
Betsy

Oh my goodness, I used to have that same Nancy Drew book when I was a kid! I think I had most of the series.

I love seeing your new treasures and also all that good food!

They are just barely pink but will turn more pink as they bloom.

I got it a Thrift Books and it was very reasonable as most of those type of books are in the $25 range when they are originally published.

Thank you for that link. Since they have no power I log on to NewsOn via Roku where I can get news broadcasts from anywhere and then I relate the info to my daughter from KCRG in Cedar Rapids. Finally, their governor who is a dunce, called in the National Guard...5 days after the storm! There is a National Guard outpost/station right outside Cedar Rapids too! Those poor people especially those who have meds that need to be refrigerated. I remember that during the ice storm we had here. The red cross is on the East coast for hurricane Isiaha so they have no help whatsoever! No ice, no water for some....what happened to all that tax money? I remember during the ice storm there was no help here until about a week later. Except for the electric company. They were wonderful and worked 24/7 plus there were electric companies that came from all over the states to help but the government? Not so much nor the Red Cross nor the National Guard. I think the American people are on their own.

I just order the next 3 Nancy Drew books in order! LOL! I swear I am enjoying them more now than when I was a kid. Second childhood?

Your mimosa tree blooms should turn pink soon. I used to grow a couple, they really like Kansas weather lol. My dad/stepmom always had dozens pop up in their yard that they gave away. Butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds love mimosas! Did you know they're actually considered a weed? *gasp* LOL! Everyone I know loves them, though. // Neat! That Quilt Petite book would be fun to go through - filled with cute lil quilts to make! Our stores are completely out of charms and fat quarters and all the fun things to use. Just glad I have a lot of fabric stashed away if I want to make something. // Blessings to you, Sam!

Hi Sam :) When I read "it might be a mimosa tree" I said "hell yeah!" but of course, I'm thinking of the orange juice/champagne cocktail called Mimosa lol...if only THAT could grow on trees! ;) The cookies look great!

I read all of the Nancy Drew series when I was a young girl but I checked them out at the library. My daughter started collecting them when she was a pre-teen. I think she still needs a few but not sure which ones.
You received some really nice haul. I am also stitching Mistletoe Lane and the Lori Holt Prim series...and a gazillion other projects, ugh.
