Stitch Maynia Day #26 and a trip to town!

Well, I refilled my prescriptions and when I went to pick them up the pharmacist told me that the doctor said no more refills until I go see him.  Dang!  I've loved not having to go to the doctor every 6 months....but I guess the gig is over now that I am fully vaccinated.  Oh well, I need to take stuff to Goodwill and maybe I could stop at Lowes and get some take out at Chili's or Buffalo Wild Wings?  Oh, and Starbucks!!! I have to make the trip worthwhile.

I didn't do a lot of stitching today.....lots of chores and I got my scripts and a few groceries and some potting soil.  I've got my little robot vacuuming and mopping my bathroom....I love it when my appliances do my work for me!  You do  have to monitor them though.....sometimes they get in trouble.

So, for SM day 26 there was a bag with floss and that was it.....hmmm.....so I moved on to Day #27 which I'll work on today and tomorrow.........I'm stitching one of these little windows on a project bag that has holes for cross stitch

It's not the easiest thing to cross stitch on but oh well.................

I don't know if any of you watch You Tube.  I have it on my pc, of course, but also I have Roku so I get it on my big T.V. too.  There are channels for cats to watch birds and squirrels............this is Miss Peeps this morning watching her favorite show!   LOL!

I hope you had a good day!  It rained last night but beautiful today and I didn't have to water!

Happy Trails!!!

That's why we had to go see the new doctor as soon as we got here, we both needed refills for our scripts and were out.
Our cats have always enjoyed those videos too. Our new TV here has Utube on it. Before I always had to cast the videos from my iPad to the TV via Chromecast. No more! We've reached the big time! Ha!
Severe weather is predicted tonight for the first time since I got here. Whoo-hoo! Now I really feel like I'm home.
Take care my friend.
Blessings,
Betsy

Since I am not 65 yeeet, I have to purchase my own insurance. My policy is great for major medical - like my broken arm bills which totalled almost $50,000 and I only had to pay about $1200, but lacks basic coverage. It does not cover anything preventative and that includes checkups for prescription renewals. I faked a cold to get a video appointment a few months ago, and asked if he could renew everything until fall when I hit the magic Medicare number and could even get lab work done for the first time in years. I skidded up until now with renewals due to covid.

My policy continues the prescription coverage we had when my husband was working so I am spoiled with mail order prescriptions. My prescriptions magically appear in my mailbox every 3 months and they remind me when I need prescriptions renewed. I can't even find similar coverage on the marketplace and when I plug in my prescriptions to see who has the best prices, I am going to be paying a lot more for drugs in addition to having to pick them up at a drug counter somewhere.

The last time I saw my doctor she mentioned that the Clinic was a safe place to visit, that Covid Patients are seen in a different part of the building. She refilled my prescriptions...they come by mail every three months.
