Moving and Grooving!

I am really making progress around here.  Today I did some dusting, cleaning, and packed up more things for the thrift store.

I went through a box of papers and half of it got thrown away. I  found old bank statements that will get burned, and I used one of the art bins I bought to put all the booklets and warranty information in...I get these at Walmart...........I use them for scrapbook paper, and my quilt blocks too.  I only paid like $6 for  mine but all of a sudden they're asking $15...what?  Did they raise the price for school supplies? Or is it just another supplier?  I wouldn't pay that much!

I received my knee pads today except there was only one and it was a medium and too small!  My legs aren't that big....my butt and my stomach maybe but not my legs! LOL!  Plus, they said they are great for gardening and washing floors on your hands and knees.....did they really think one would be enough for that?  So, I will have to return and buy a L and 2 of them.   They do seem nice....but now they will be twice the price too.........
I filled an entire garbage bag with paperwork today...what a great feeling!

I also worked a bit more on my Battenberg blanket Join As You Go (JAYG)....it takes a little concentration to  ensure you're doing it right....it's going to take some practice but it is nice to get them attached so they're not roaming all over the house...lol!

I was looking through pictures yesterday on my pc and came upon a baby/toddler picture of me that I have no idea where it came from.  I don't remember ever seeing a picture of myself as a baby.....what a surprise!  I'm probably just getting "old-timer's disease"........

Happy Trails!!!

Aren't you precious!!!! I use those boxes too but I won't be buying anymore at that price! I also bought some at Michaels. They were like 75% off and I decided to order enough to get the free shipping so I would not have to juggle them. That should hold me the rest of my life.

I love that sweet, sweet photo. I can almost hear the laugh too. :-) That's a ridiculous jump in price for the boxes.
Why would only one knee pad be included? Was the packing wrong? They do look like they would work well.
I really, really like that first photo on your post today. The flag pillow and cross stitch and especially the lamb planter. Perfect!
Blessings and love,
Betsy

You are on a roll with chores and paperwork. I have to clean upstairs tomorrow and I need to start going through boxes of paperwork myself. I'm feeling a bit more energized throughout the day now that I've started walking around the lake in the mornings instead of the evenings.
I love your patriotic pillows. I use those art bins for quilt blocks as well. They are the perfect size. Although, I get mine on sale at Michael's. Your Battenberg blanket is coming along nicely. Adorable photo of your as a child.
